The medical specialty of hematooncology focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of blood malignancies as well as other blood-related conditions. These include various forms of anemia, other uncommon illnesses, and blood malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. The following blood diseases in adult and pediatric patients are our specialty.

Hematology

The medical specialty of hematology is devoted to the study of blood, blood-forming organs (such as bone marrow), and diseases and disorders that affect the blood.

Hemato-Oncologist

A doctor specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hematological cancers, also referred to as blood cancers, is called a hemato-oncologist. Blood-forming tissues, including the lymphatic system, bone marrow, and blood cells, are the source of these tumors. Hemato-oncologists are specialists in the treatment of lymphomas, leukemias, multiple myelomas, and myelodysplastic syndromes, among other blood malignancies.
