Social Responsibility
At OMEGA Hospital, we believe that our ability to make a difference extends beyond our hospital walls. Both as an organization and as individuals, we’re dedicated to playing an active and energetic role to provide our community with the support, outreach programs and special services to improve their quality of life.
This sense of responsibility to the community is a core element of our professional culture, and our nurses and allied health clinicians go to tremendous lengths to adopt this mission as their own. Each day, we’re discovering new ways to make an impact in the lives of people both within and beyond OMEGA Hospital.
At OMEGA Hospital, we provide an extensive range of free and low-cost testing and screenings, support groups and community health education. We also provide low-cost services, an innovative department of Integrative Medicine offering alternative health and wellness services, and an annual clinic designed to ease children’s fear of health care.
Our nurses and allied health professionals recognize the value of community support services and are dedicated to facilitating their success through the donation of their time, energy and expertise.
Our Speakers’ Bureau also provides a wide range of free education and information programs to the community on such topics as depression, cholesterol awareness and cancer education.
